Shore|Lines was the artist’s first Chicago solo museum exhibition, and the third chapter in her panorama series.

With support from the Joyce Foundation (Agu was a 2023 Joyce Foundation Award recipient with MoCP), this exhibition spanned the entire museum and included a new original commission (Edge, Bank, Shore), new and selected works from the past 10 years of the artist’s practice, and the publication Regina Agu: Field Notes for Shore| Lines (2025). On the 3rd floor of the museum, the artist curated and projected a selection of footage from the South Side Home Movie Project, and an exhibition of multiple photographs of Chicago from the museum’s permanent collection.
